Software. TLEdit requires that the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) be installed on your desktop computer. The latest version of JRE can be downloaded from here.
Memory. TLEdit requires 512 Mbyte of system memory for JRE. 1 Gbyte system memory is recommended.
Disk space. TLEdit requires at least 300 MByte free space on hard drive for storing the executable code including space for JRE.
Internet. TLEdit requires Internet access for automatic updates and for the first time launching the software. The automatic download of trusted lists in Analyze trusted lists and Check against trusted lists service also requires Internet access. Except this cases the software can be used as an offline standalone application as well.
Signing certificate. TLEdit supports signing of the machine processable form and the human readable form of Trusted List. You can freely choose the certificate you want to use for signing, it can also be one of those listed in the Trusted List or outside.
Keystore. TLEdit requires for signing the Trusted List:
  • SSCD (Secure Signature Creation Device) which supports the PKCS#11 standard interface
  • SCD (Signature Creation Device) which supports the PKCS#11 standard interface
  • Smart Card or token handled by Microsoft CryptoAPI (only on Windows)
  • Keystore file which stores the signing key in PKCS#12 standard format (pfx)
